aYeast diploid cells were respectively transformed with the indicated overexpression vector. Resistance to blasticidin is conferred by the product of the blasticidin S deaminase (bsd) gene from Aspergillus terreus. The RAD51, rad51-3A and rad51-ΔN genes were expressed under the native RAD51 promoter.
