Expression of angiotensin II (ANG II) type 1 receptor (AT₁R) in the kidney. In the cortex, ANG II infusion resulted in a significant increase in AT₁R expression in wild-type (WT) mice and endothelial prolyl hydroxylase (PHD2)-specific KO (PHD2^ECKO) mice. There was no statistical difference between WT and PHD2^ECKO mice. In the medulla, expression of AT₁R showed no significant difference between WT and PHD2^ECKO mice.
