Extrapolation of Eq. 1 for prediction of diameter for all vessel orders was compared with the diameter measurements from Huang et al. (27) for an adult man with a body surface area (BSA) of 2.2 m². The predicted diameters from Eq. 1 were similar to Huang et al.’s measurements for all vessel orders, with the lowest standard error of 0.5% at order 7 vessels.
