EspG₃ exists in multiple structural forms. A, open (PDB code 5DLB, EspG_3mm, sand) and closed (PDB code 4RCL, EspG_3ms, maroon) conformations of EspG₃ were aligned to EspG_3mm (PDB code 6UUJ, orange) as it is bound to PPE4_mt. Overall the different conformations align well to the bound conformation of EspG_3mm with RMSDs of 2.1 Å (open) and 1.9 Å (closed).
