The ThiT, RibU, PanT, PdxU2, BioY and FolT genes are energy coupling factor (ECF)–type transporters for thiamine, riboflavin, pantothenate, pyridoxine, biotin and folate, respectively, while BtuCDF is an ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter with a substrate-specific domain for cobalamin transport.
