In insulin-stimulated adipocytes, the reaction mediated by Glut4 is stimulated by phosphorylation of the protein AS160 at S595, the reaction mediated by Gpat_Acly is stimulated by the allosteric effectors G6P or F6P, and the reaction mediated by Gls is stimulated by alleviating the allosteric effector glutamate.
