Note that the wavelet reconstructions for all summary statistics are plotted on the same scale, thereby making the distributions of some summaries difficult to decipher as their magnitudes are relatively small. SURFDAWave results compare the use of Daubechies’ least-asymmetric to Haar wavelets to estimate spatial distributions of summary statistics. Summary statistics π^, H1, H12, H2/H1, and frequency of the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth most common haplotypes used by both Trendsetter and SURFDAWave. Level and γ chosen through cross validation for SURFDAWave (see Training the models).
