The inhibitory effect of plumbagin on jaw fibrosarcoma tumor growth in PDX model. Patient-derived tumors were subcutaneously established in nude mice. (A,B) When the tumors reached 100–200 mm3 in size, mice were treated with drugs for 3 weeks and a week after drug discontinuation. And representative PDX samples were resected (eight tumors per group) showing the difference in tumor volumes and weights between blank control, plumbagin (2 mg/kg), cisplatin (5mg/kg), and combined group.
