Bulgarian viruses detected from December 2018 to February 2019 are indicated in blue, pink and green, respectively. All but six viruses: A/Bulgaria/1344/2018, A/Bulgaria/1347/2018, A/Bulgaria/1376/2018 and A/Bulgaria/1409/2018 (all subclade 3C.2a2), A/Bulgaria/909/2019 and A/958/2019 (both subgroup 3C.2a1b) viruses were detected in hospitalized patients. All viruses were identified in unvaccinated patients.
