Effect of various concentrations of beta-hydroxy butyrate (BHB), a FA3R antagonist, on protective effects of butyrate (BUT) against salsilinol (SALS)-induced toxicity. Cells were treated with SALS, BUT and BHB for 24 h and cell viability was determined by MTT. BHB was added 1 h before BUT, which was added 1 h before SALS.
