HPL chromatograms (a) and evolution of different clusters species as a function of time (b). The sample was prepared by ligand exchange reaction of (C-38, 24, R-0) and R-BINAS. Some enantiopure cluster (C-38, 24, R-0), was added to adjust the average number of incorporated R-BINAS in the sample, which was x¯RBINAS=0.76. The sample was then heated to 70 °C and chromatograms were measured as a function of time. The peaks are assigned as follows: Peak 1, (A-38, 24, R-0); Peak 2, (C-38, 24, R-0); Peak 3, (A-38, 22, R-1); Peak 4, (C-38, 22, R-1).
