Lack of Dp-427 affects Capn3, Id3, and Dntb gene expression during pre- and post-natal retinogenesis. Retinal gene expression of Capn3, Id3, and Dntb, evaluated by real time RT-PCR, is significantly reduced in E18 (Capn3, Id3) and P0–P5 (all three genes) in mdx mice compared to wild type (wt).
