The median adjusted odds ratios from the primary analysis, using a bayesian cumulative logistic model, were 1.43 (95% credible interval, 0.91-2.27) and 1.22 (95% credible interval, 0.76-1.94) for the fixed-dose and shock-dependent hydrocortisone groups compared with the no hydrocortisone group, yielding 93% and 80% probabilities of superiority over the no hydrocortisone group, respectively.
