The molecular mechanism by which ADSC-derived EVs alleviate injury caused by DN. EVs derived from ADSCs enter mouse glomerular podocytes, MP5 cells. MiR-26a-5p contained in the ADSC-derived EVs targets and inhibits TLR4, inactivating the NF-κB/VEGFA pathway in HG-induced MP5 cells, characterized by decreased IKKβ, IκBα, and p65 protein expression and a decrease in the extent of the phosphorylation of those proteins. This leads to enhanced viability and suppresses apoptosis of MP5 cells.
