Age- and gender- standardised prevalence of obesity and overweight was calculated for each province in each survey according to the 2010 National population Census. Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan were not included in this survey and showed in grey colour. We divided the provinces into five levels according to the quartiles of the obesity and overweight prevalence in total adult population in 2013.
