Increased body bending behavior (BBB) in A53T larvae by shorter exposure (48 hours) to high concentrations of L-DOPA but rescued by a dopamine agonist pramipexole (PRX). BBB was increased in A53T larvae by high concentrations (5 or 10 mM) of L-DOPA exposure during the third instar (48 hours), but completely rescued when A53T larvae exposed to high concentrations of L-DOPA were treated with pramipexole (PRX, 0.4 mM). Student t-test, *p<0.05, ***p<0.001. For each group, 18 larvae from 4 separate experiments were examined.
