(a) Measurements and simulations of the transmission coefficients of the fabricated sensors before loading glucose samples (resonance around 3.0 GHz), (b) measured transmission coefficient S₂₁ when the compact sensor is experimented for the 70 mg/dL glucose sample at different volumes 200, 400, and 600 µL to compare the corresponding sensor behaviors. Increasing the sample volume, and implicitly the thickness, would tune the S₂₁ resonant frequencies towards lower frequencies.
