Colour maps of the location and intensity of the shape deformation associated to the first PLS axes for four bones of Ceratotherium simum. For each bone, the shape associated to the positive part of the first PLS axis was coloured depending on its distance to the shape associated to the negative part (blue indicates a low deformation intensity and red indicates a high deformation intensity).
