Molecular phylogeny of fungal NoxA, NoxB and NoxR proteins. A. Neighbour‐joining phylogenetic tree of PtNoxA and PtNoxB with a selected group of fungal Nox proteins. The protein sequences were retrieved from UniprotKB database (http://www.uniprot.org/) and aligned using the MAFFT program with default parameters. The phylogenetic tree was constructed using MEGA5 and rooted with Homo sapiens Nox1 (Q9Y5S8). Numbers at the nodes indicate the percentage of 1000 bootstrap replicates that support each labelled interior branch. B.
