Average growth (OD₅₃₀) of Fusarium verticillioides and Fusarium subglutinans measured over a 48 h time course in defined minimal broth medium using a microtiter plate assay in the absence and presence of purified terpenoids at a concentration of 0 µg ml⁻¹ (grey), 2 µg ml⁻¹ (blue) and 10 µg ml⁻¹ (orange). Error bars represent propagated SE values (n = 4) and letters represent significant differences at P < 0.05 as measured using analysis of variance and Tukey's honestly significant difference tests to correct for multiple comparisons between control and treatments.
