Soft tissue recurrence of an OO. Initial axial CT image shows an acetabular OO (arrow in a). Postoperative CT image (b) shows the large resection area of the lesion (arrow). Pain recurred at follow-up and a CT examination obtained several months after surgery demonstrated heterotopic ossification with a central nidus-like pattern (arrow in c) adjacent to the medial aspect of the femoral neck.
