Time kinetics for EBOV/Mak virus inactivation by ethanol disinfectant spray (EDS) at ambient temperature. The values indicated represent the mean ± standard deviation log₁₀ titer of the post-neutralization samples determined in Vero E6 cells (n = 3 technical replicates obtained for 3 lots of EDS). The input virus titer in tripartite soil load was found to be 6.3 ± 0.4 log₁₀ TCID₅₀/mL. The limit of detection (LOD) of the assay (1.8 log₁₀ TCID₅₀/mL) was determined by cytotoxic effects of the undiluted neutralized samples on Vero E6 cells.
