(A) Composite IHC scores for Muc5Ac expression in tamoxifen- and corn-oil-treated iKC mice from 4 to 50 weeks of age. (B) Muc5Ac was detected in the pancreas of tamoxifen-treated mice only at 40 and 50 weeks after tamoxifen injection and not at 4, 10 and 30 weeks. Pancreata isolated from control animals were negative for Muc5Ac expression.
