Comparison of floral stem lignin content in WT and ugt72e mutants. The lignin dosage was performed by the acetyl bromide method in the young (A) parts (n = 5 replicates each containing 8 fragments) and old (B) parts (n = 5 replicates; each containing 4 fragments) of the floral stems.
