(A) B6 mice were maintained in SPF (N=7) or were transferred to a conventional facility and co-housed (CVT, N = 13)) with mice from that facility for twelve months. Mice were bled at twelve months of co-housing to analyze proportions and absolute numbers of CD4, CD8 and CD45R lymphocytes in peripheral blood. (B) CD4 and CD8 T cells were further divided into EM-CD4, M-CD4, EM-CD8 and M-CD8 subsets based on CD44 and CD62L expression in which proportions and absolute numbers of EM-CD4, M-CD4, EM-CD8 and M-CD8 were similar for CVT and SPF mice.
