Molecular weight, net charge, and GRAVY were determined by using the ProtParam tool. Boman index was determined by using ADP3. Potentially synergistic peptides PEP2 and PEP8 are shown in bold.
Grand average of hydropathy (GRAVY) is a prediction of the average hydrophobicity of a peptide. Positive numbers indicate the peptide is more hydrophobic, while negative numbers indicate the peptide is more hydrophilic.
The Boman index is a prediction of the potential for a protein to bind to other proteins. Higher positive values indicate the ability to interact with a wide range of proteins.
