Table 1.

Each row of the table contains the weights of the channels for the two ROIs and the difference between them. The weights are calculating using Eqs. (6)–(8). It can be seen that a nearer channel has a larger weight. S and D represent source and detector, respectively, whose indices can be found in Fig. 2. Both the proposed tapered and conventional uniform weights are listed. Note that the remaining channels are omitted from visualization in this table because of their small weights.
