In both approaches, random effects were assumed. In the second and third row, where the results of the Shapiro-Wilk test (SW) are reported for the CO and PD group, p-values larger than the 5% are printed in bold, indicating that the observed distribution is no rare statistical realization under the assumption of a normal distribution as the null hypothesis. In the fourth and fifth row, the SSS and nANOVA results are tabulated with the smallest p-values highlighted.
