Inhibition of CYP2C9 activity by antibodies against cyt b5. Percentage of total GA production with HLM (0.4 mg protein/ml) (panel A) and with baculosomes (0.3 mg protein/ml) (panel B) in the presence of 1 mM of salicylic acid after 30 min incubation at 37 °C (pH 7.4) (white bars). CYP2C9 activity in HLMs was calculated as the difference of presence and absence of sulfaphenazole. The activity of CYP2C9 baculosomes and HLMs was measured in the absence and the presence of the anti-cyt b5 antibodies at a molar ratio endogenous cyt b5:antibody 1:1, (see the text above).
