Optical density (OD) in CBS+ cells was categorized by the following scale: high (160–120 UOD, corresponding to +++), moderate (120–80 UOD, corresponding to ++), weak (80–40 UOD, corresponding to +), and low (less than 40 UOD, corresponding to –); the initial OD value was measured on the control mounts. Large and small diameters of the cell body are shown through a slash. Cells were morphologically classified according to a previously developed scheme (Pushchina et al., 2018). *indicates additional cell types that appear in the cerebellum after injury.
