Table 2. Results of an analysis of variance for repeated measures (rm-ANOVA) applied onto the artificially created data set 4, comprising two groups with sizes of n = 1000 and d = 20 variables (var0001—var0020, Fig 4) representing some measurements captured in the variables of this artificial data set.

The analysis of variance was designed with "measurement", i.e. either all 20 variables or a reduced set of 15 variables, from which the variables 11,…,15 were removed, as within-subjects factor and "group" as between-subjects factor.
