AbM induces apoptosis of CML cells. Primary CML BM cells were treated with different concentrations of AbM (0, 1.2, 1.8 and 2.4 mg/ml) for 24 h and the expression of apoptosis-related genes and proteins was determined using (A and B) western-blot analysis (*P<0.05 and **P<0.001) and (C) reverse transcription-quantitative PCR. The relative expression levels of β catenin, Bax and Bcl-2 genes in primary CML BM cells were quantified according to the expression levels of actin. The relative expression levels of cyclin D1, Lef/Tcf, c-myc, β catenin, CD44, c-Jun, mmp, Bax and Bcl-2 proteins in primary CML BM cells were quantified according to the expression levels of Actin.
