Mycobacterium tuberculosis Rv0297PGRS protects the bacterium against oxidative and hypoxic stress conditions. Recombinant M.smeg_pVV16, M.smeg_Rv0297, and M.smeg_Rv0297PGRS bacterial cells were grown in the presence of hypoxic (CoCl₂) (A) and oxidative (H₂O₂) (B) stress environments.
