Cultures of S. aureus Newman (A and B) and USA300 LAC* (C and D) carrying control vector pitet, pitet-fmhA, or pitet-fmhC, were grown without (A and C) or with (B and D) oxacillin. Growth was measured as increased A600 over time. The data are shown as an average of technical triplicates with error bars indicating the standard deviation and are representative of three biological replicates.
