The ROI in red (panel B) outlines the spleen and the bright spots correspond to uptake in microtumors on the peritoneal lining of the spleen. The color-coded scale bar indicates quantified activity per cell (Bq/cell). The microtumor sizes (radius, mean ± S.D.) were 44 (±19) μm with a range from 19 to 82 μm.
