HER2-inhibition restores IL-1β- and TNF-α-triggered activation of NF-κB/COX2 → HIF1-α axis. MCF10A(HER2+) cells were serum-starved, pre-treated with lapatinib (1 µM) for 3 h and incubated with IL-1β (10 ng/ml) or TNF-α (10 ng/ml) for 10, 30, 60 and 120 min, or 24, 48 and 72 h.
