Anti-inflammatory activity of VCCM and VLCM in vitro. Anti-inflammatory activity of fresh CM, VCCM, and VLCM was evaluated by quantitating inhibition of TNF-α release from LPS-activated THP-1 cells. Unstimulated and LPS-activated THP-1 cells alone served as negative and positive controls, respectively. Student's t-test was used to determine differences between experimental groups with statistical significance.
