Integrin-mediated crosstalk between cancer cells and tumor-associated stromal cells in the TME promotes cancer metastasis. Integrins expressed on CAFs interacted with ECM and promoted the metastasis of cancer cells. Cancer cells also expressed integrins to recruit and promote the activation of fibroblast.
