The chemical shift differences of α-carbon (ΔC_α) were plotted against the amino-acid residue number of Arc^280-396. The sequence segments with continuous and significantly positive ΔC_α values (> 0.05) correspond to the five α-helices (grey bars, α1-α5) in the C-lobe region. The C-terminal tail (green bar) has insignificant (-0.05 ~ 0.05) or discrete ΔC_α values, suggesting this region has a random coil structure. The chemical shift data of Arc^280-396 was deposited in the Biological Magnetic Resonance Data Bank (BMRB) (ID: 50436).
