Four-week-old C57BL/6 J female mice were fed with low (LC, 0.25%), normal (NC, 0.70%), and high (HC, 1.20%) calcium reproductive diets, respectively, starting 2 months before the conception, which were continued throughout the whole pregnancy and lactation. After weaning, the pups were fed with a normal (NC-C) or high-fed diets (NC-HFD, LC-HFD and HC-HFD) for 16 weeks.
