Dysregulated expression of co-inhibitory molecules in Ceacam1^−/− mice. Ceacam1^−/− and WT mice were orally infected with ~ 2 × 10⁹ CFU of C. rodentium or gavaged with PBS. At day 10 post infection, lamina propria cells of the colon were isolated and characterized by flow cytometry for the frequency and MFI of (a) of PD1⁺ CD8⁺ T cells and (b) CTLA-4⁺ CD8⁺ T cells.
