Measured stain concentration in heavy atoms per nm3 for sections of human blood platelets, mouse brain, and mouse liver. The error estimates are based on the standard deviation in the measured slopes of the plots of 〈ln[Iresin/Icell(x, y)]〉versus thickness. The uncertainty in the elastic scattering cross section is not considered, since the values are expected more accurate than the variations in the slopes.
