(B) For multilevel data analysis, we used z-standardized pressure (for details, see description in “Materials and Methods” section). The CPM effect was defined as difference VASTS2 − VASTS1 during a z-standardized pressure of 0 (thick marked points). Thus, a negative value represents CPM-induced hypoalgesia.
