Each OTU is represented by a line, whose thickness depicts the OTUs abundance in that particular place. In general, all unicellular holozoans were widespread and located in surface or DCM layers of the water column. However, some had different preferential geographical location (i.e., MAOP1 vs. MAOP2, or Craspedida vs. Acanthoecida), or fraction sizes (i.e., Ichthyophonida vs. Dermocystida, or Craspedida vs. Acanthoecida). Note that the thickness of each OTU is relative to the amount of OTUs in each group, so comparisons between lineages are not possible. Numbers below group names indicate the number of OTUs.
