EMSA experiments on variants of Vibrio and E. coli consensus oligonucleotides modifying individual positions and/or length. For each experiment, 5 μM DNA was incubated with increasing concentrations of AsFur (0, 10, 20, 40 and 80 μM) for lanes 1–5, respectively.
