Figure 3. — Patella tendon cadaver repair constructs for biomechanical testing. (A) A left patellar tendon knotless tape repair with 1 polyethylene tape and 2 knotless anchors inserted into the inferior pole of the patella. The repair is supplemented with 2 core sutures from each anchor. (B) A right patellar tendon transosseous repair. A total of 3 transosseous holes are drilled through the patella, and 4 sutures are passed through these holes with 2 knots tied over the superior pole of the patella.
