Patellar tendon gapping after transosseous versus knotless repair. Gapping was measured after 0, 20, 125, and 250 cycles. After 250 cycles, the increase in gap distance was larger for the transosseous suture repair versus the knotless patellar tendon repair (increase of 2.16 ± 1.25 vs 0.55 ± 0.44 mm, respectively; P = .01).
