Mn-induced α-Syn protein overexpression contributes to further exacerbate brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) protein-level reduction and to inhibit TrkB/Akt/Fyn signaling, thereby disturbing Fyn-mediated phosphorylation of the NMDA receptor GluN2B subunit at tyrosine.
