Schematic Representation of All the Results Obtained in This Study. It is evident that the SN in SIDS cases is characterized by a decrease in the neuron number and in the expressivity of both the TH enzyme and NM with respect to the control cases and furthermore that these results are closely related to the exposure to cigarette smoke.
