A peroxynitrite decomposition catalyst (Fe-TPPS) decreases NLRP3 inflammasome priming/activation in LPS/ATP challenged fibroblasts. Fibroblasts were pretreated with Fe-TPPS (25 μM) or vehicle for 30 min. Subsequently, they were challenged with LPS (1 μg/mL) for 6 h followed by ATP (3 mM) for 30 min.
